The Artist
Saunders is now a full time artist whose earlier professional background include White House, Congressional and Federal agency appointments, cold war “behind the iron curtain” intelligence posts , journalism and writing and nearly fifty years in international strategic business consulting. He sees the world in terms of problems needing solutions and issues requiring analysis, observation and understanding through their infinitely small components.
Not surprising then that his art focuses on the “microscopic,” which he says “provides the insight into how the larger picture of the world comes together and is more easily understood.
A gift on his 12thbirthday, from a WWII combat photographer and neighbor, was a 4×5 Meridian Press Camera, including darkroom processing equipment, chemistry and film. That began a passion for creative imaging that has lasted over sixty-four years.
In 2001 Saunders acquired a Zeiss photomicroscope, beginning a journey that evolved into creating the processes for extracting essential chemistries from virtually anything and making crystal structures representative of the material imaged. Exhibits in the US and Europe have fascinated visitors and opened an entirely creative “art avenue” in microscopy, product visual branding and historic memorializing. He often says in his artist talks, “This art is possible because of the confluence of human imagination, creativity, science and technology.”
From a recent “artist talk,” “What fascinates me about abstract art is that it becomes a stand-alone creation divorced from the ego of the artist; its ownership instantly belongs exclusively to the observer. The over discussed “artist intent” and, indeed the artist, becomes irrelevant. That is what I want my art to be – owned exclusively by a new observer in an interpretation and relevance unique to each individual.”

The Company
We are Microvision Art, Inc.
A Florida-based, USA company – an amalgam of minds from business, science and Art, holding a unique license authorizing our company to market and sell the art creations of T.H. Saunders.
The art is “Non-ReferentExpressive Abstract.”
This is an art form resulting from interaction and control over techniques and processes developed by the artist from disciplines in science and technology.
These creations ignite the imagination of critics and similarly of legions of individuals, who just love and collect art.
An art collector and university professor called this imaging “an artistic form of Rorschach” because interpretation and relating to the art is uniquely personal and individual. Each creation has a unique look and back-story that forces the mind to search deeper as it scans, observes, interprets and assigns meaning based on personal experience and emotional responses.
The imaging attracts attention, inspires endless journeys of imagination and sustains an interest in each unique piece that never becomes boring, never ignored, never ”taken for granted” and never relegated to become “real estate” filling an empty space on a wall.
We are privileged to bring these collections to public limelight and the fine art consuming market.
